Another one DEAD

It is with a very heavy heart that I bring you bad news. We at Active Christians Ministry have lost one of our angels sleeping rough on the streets of Birmingham.

God put it on my heart in my discipleship to help the poor on the streets of Birmingham and other areas of the West Midlands. When we started out, the homeless would often ask to come to my church. At the time I didn’t have my own ministry/church, I remember being a deacon and bringing my concerns to the church I was attending at the time. They said no giving the reason that they had no facilities or provision. I respected that decision and I fasted and prayed to the Lord God of Israel, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I asked what He would have me do. The people needed prayer and a pastor who would meet them where they’re at.

I am new to this but the people are dying on the street for lack of knowledge of the gospel. I knew it would take me many years to do a theology degree, then God showed me that He is my provision, He said He would teach me that hour what to say - Jeremiah 1:8-10 and Luke 12:12. So I converted my home to do Active Christians Ministry and Gods angels (the homeless) would naturally address me as ‘Pastor’ and ask to come to my church as I was the one praying with them (Luke 4:18, Proverb 22:9, Psalm 35:10, James 2:14-17).

I then followed the law of the land and registered God’s ministry, Active Christians, helping the poor and the needy, preaching the Gospel of Yeshua.

This week I learnt that one of God’s angels committed suicide. It saddens me that I could not help when he needed me there and I could not lift his spirit. It saddens me and it also angers me that I could not provide what he needed. A safe place to wash, accommodation where he wasn’t forced to sell drugs or a safe place where he could sleep without fear of being raped. Somewhere where his poverty would not lead him into iniquity and sin. Within a city where he didn’t have to tell lies just to get by.

It saddens me that he passed away in a city that used to be known for welcoming strangers from across the country and across the world, where people who are new and desperate were to get help, love and kindness. Birmingham, the heart of the Industrial Age, now in the digital age, we have thrown away humanity and respect of persons for all that glitters and shines and brings a good time but only for a short time.

Birmingham, where the law of Moses is considered out of date and not in keeping with a changing moral compass, a digital agenda, gender neutral, modernistic world where help comes only if you are on the electoral roll and are born in this country.

If not, the answer is ‘no,’ and humanity leaves you and you must then turn to the dark forces for your help. Where accommodation depends on how much drugs you can sell and then you are allowed to use the address to then acquire a bank account in someone else’s name to receive benefits.

Then your saviour dealer has you fully under control to do the devils biddings so now you're hooked on drugs, mamba and locked in a cycle of abuse and usuary just to obtain public funding to live a life of continued sin and shame.
Will you please pray with me for one more soul lost to the streets of Birmingham?
No one to mourn him, no one to write his Eulogy, to say ‘this is one of God’s children lost in a world that has forgotten there fathers scriptures and teachings.’
